Well that didn’t take long – we’ve just had what could be the first look at the HTC 10.
Word that HTC was looking to shake up the name of its next flagship phone had only just emerged, but now we’ve got photos and renders to go with it.
First up, pictures of a prototype device appeared courtesy of @onleaks, showing off a USB type-C port on the bottom and revealing the lack of BoomSound speakers on the front.
If the pictures end up being accurate, HTC will be second of the major manufacturers to switch to USB Type-C behind LG and the G5.
OnLeaks also seemingly confirmed the phone’s spec: a 5.2in QHD screen, Snapdragon 820 CPU, 4GB of RAM and a 12MP camera.
Not to be outdone, the original Twitter leak expert Evan "@EVleaks" Blass posted the HTC 10 rendered from all angles.
In silver, the render looks a lot more like a revised version of last year’s phone, but the lack of front-firing speakers will be a blow for fans of the M9.
HTC is still keeping the phone under wraps until an official announcement, but with the number of leaks intensifying, we’re hopefully not too far away from getting a launch date.
