Nokia Tube – one million already sold

Nokia has been out and about bragging this morning, with its first full–on touchscreen phone, the 5800 XpressMusic, or Tube, selling a million worldwi

The news will be welcome news for Nok ahead of MWC, with the music offering impressing with its decent touch interface and ample tunage space.

It’s just three weeks since the Tube had its global launch, having hit a few small countries in the run up to Christmas. To put that in context, it took the original iPhone 74 days to hit the million mark. The iPhone 3G did it in a weekend.

Surely this is proof enough that Nokia needs to keep up their touchscreen phone plans, starting with those new multitouch mavens we heard about?
