Logitech unveils the C615 HD webcam

14 Jun 2011

We’ve always been lax with our appearance over video chat thanks to the low quality webcams available in most laptops, but that’s about to change with Logitech’s C615 HD webcam which supports 720p video calls as well as the ability to take 8MP stills.

The built-in autofocus and microphone, coupled with one-click HD uploading to YouTube, Facebook and Twitter should also ensure that the soul-crushing embarrassment  of inebriated late-night escapades are only a few ill-judged clicks away. The cam will be available from September for £70, leaving plenty of time to bronze up our pale, pasty faces in an effort to look remotely presentable when talking to our loved ones.

I am really hoping to buy one of these cameras, as I am really doubtful about the quality of the camera which comes with my laptop. With such a high quality webcam, I will definitely have a better experience when I have video chats with my friends in the future!
