You may not be flush enough to afford an actual Ferrari, but how about the next best thing: a phone with the Ferrari logo on it.

Yes, Acer has rolled out a new Ferrari-branded blower, the Liquid E Ferrari special edition, which it breathlessly describes as “the most exclusive smartphone in the world.”

Featuring a “bold yet elegant design” (in other words: it’s red) and a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen, the Liquid E Ferrari special edition flaunts some nice design flourishes like carbon fibre detailing and, er, a microphone that apparently looks a bit like the air intake inlet off a real Ferrari.

Then you’ve got a custom interface, Ferrari wallpapers (come on) and a ringtone that recalls, in Acer’s words, the “sweet music” of a Ferrari’s engine.

No word on pricing or availability just yet, but the Liquid E Ferrari special edition should be tearing up a high street near you come July.
