Put PlayStation in your pocket with the first official console app
The interweb is abuzz with PlayStation chatter right now. There’s the eagerly-awaited PlayStation certified phone, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play, the new Sony NGP, otherwise known as the PSP 2 and the first official PlayStation app.
But before you get carried away with visions of playing Assassin’s Creed on your Google Nexus S, you should know the app is more of an interactive portal, designed to provide information and keep you updated on everything PlayStation, as opposed to offering a selection of games that you’ll spend hours playing with on your handset – like with the Xbox Live hub on wp7 handsets.
