iUsers jailbreak app enables multiple users on your iPad

Finally, game-save bickering looks set to receive a welcome end

The dangers of whole families sharing a single iPad may soon be a thing of the past, thanks to the upcoming release of the iUsers app.

Arming your iPad’s lock screen with a login button, the handy iUsers app separates application data and preferences between different users, avoiding any pesky high-score sabotage between apps and games – never again will your significant other’s paltry fruit slicing skills embarrass you in the dojo records, or your eBay login be available for your kids to buy the latest overpriced plastic tat.

With plans for separate app installations, music and video content in the works, the future seems bright for this jailbreak-only app which is set to be released soon, with a sneak preview available here. It’ll be available through Cydia, an app for finding other apps that work on jailbroken iPads, iPhones and iPod Touches.
