Rumour Mill – Samsung Galaxy S2 to get Windows Phone 7?

04 Jul 2011

Bluetooth SIG has planted a spectacular seed of hope in our gadget-hungry minds by uncovering information which appears to confirm the existence of a Windows Phone-injected Galaxy S2.

A phone toting model number SGH-i937 is rocking an identical Bluetooth profile to that of Mango, which all but confirms what will be a much-appreciated fusion of solid hardware and slick software. If true, Samsung will have plenty more Galaxy S2 devices in the wild, in addition to the impressive three million units that are already out there.

Great phone but stay away from Windows Phone 7 if you use Microsoft Outlook.

Microsoft's premier email, contacts and time management program is NOT compatible with it's own mobile operating system UNLESS you work for a company that uses an Exchange server.

NO DIRECT SYNC!! Between two Microsoft programs and yet ANDROID WILL DIRECT SYNC using Companion Link software.

This is forcing a Windows Mobile afficionado like me to upgrade from WM 6.5 to Android - Unbelievable.
