Until very recently, if you wanted a decent smartphone you had to cough up a few hundred quid and potentially risk eating Super Noodles for the month just to cover the cost. But Huawei has broken the mould with its £100 Android-flavoured slab and new kid on the bargain block. It's not the cheapest budget smartphone out there, but paying that tiny bit extra bags you a 4in screen, a 1GHz processor and the promise of an Ice Cream Sandwich update – not bad for a smartphone that costs the same as four Lego Technic Jet Planes.
