Apple TV out for Christmas 2012

01 Dec 2011

Apple is set to release its Apple TV next Christmas, according to a reliable analyst. The iTV is rumoured to be controlled by Siri and feature a Retina Display developed by Sharp for Apple.

Although Siri might not be so impressive (if it’s like this version of Siri hacked to work on a TV), the idea of a 40in Retina Display in an age when 4K should be coming onto screens is very exciting indeed.

We’re hoping it has all the functionality of a PC too, if the pricetag – which is tipped to be double that of a normal TV – is anything to go by.

Better start saving for Christmas 2013 now.

I really want one but unfortunately, I'm still saving for that MacBook Pro I wanted for xMas 2012 and then that future iPad 4 (still awaiting rumors for that one... Stuff) for xMas 2013.

Apple keeps bringing out fancy tech we all want too quickly. Before we know it, we will all be taking out £400,000 mortgages for iHomes.
