Asus didn’t only unleash their Eee PC 1001 and Eee Box last month, no sir. They also unveiled a distinctly Wiimote looking peripheral, dubbed the Eee Stick, which has now been given the official thumbs up in the US.
The news was unearthed by uber blog Engadget. In the box you’ll get a pair of joysticks, one rocking a pad, the other a stick (think Nunchuk and Wii controller folks), as well as a USB dongle and wrist strap.
Now we know what’s in the box, we want to know what it’ll all do once paired up with your budget Asus PC. Play games? Act as an average remote? Destroy the screen in a fit of pique? Who knows.
The fact it's gone through regulators, however, means it can’t be far off an official release. We’re on the case, so keep it locked for any news. To keep bang up–to–date, be sure to take a look at our exclusive Eee PC 901 review too.
