Tonium Pacemaker, the favoured music gadget of our in-house DJ crew the Stuff Spinnerz, has been given a fresh new update for 2009.

The Pacemaker 2 won’t replace the existing model but will come with brand new software which promises to be a much less frustrating experience than the early releases for the first version.

The new interface is easier on the eye and will even auto-beatmatch – handy for those who need to paper the cracks of their creaky DJ skillset.

It’ll also be better for the cash-strapped muso, with a lower price tag (rumoured to be under $500 in the US) and a smaller 60GB hard-drive, half that of the full fat version.

Check out our hands-on video in our CES 2009 blog.
