Spotify for BlackBerry app comes to Bold and Curve handsets

If you've got a BlackBerry Torch, you might want to look away now kids

The Spotify for BlackBerry app has emerged from beta to rival the iPhone and Android versions so that full streaming is now available for Spotify Premium subscribers. That’s the good news.

The bad news is that RIM has handpicked its compatible smartphones so not everyone gets Spotify – you’re in luck if you own a Bold 9780, Bold 9700, Curve 9300, Bold 9000 or Curve 8520. So a nice selection of 2009 and 2010 handsets then.

Head to m.spotify.com on your BlackBerry if you make the grade to get the app – a 48 hour free trial awaits you or else sign up to Spotify online to get a 30 day spin on Spotify Premium.
