We loved the original Zipp portable wireless speaker, but this upgraded version is significantly sleeker.
The Copenhagen Edition mixes high quality materials to create a speaker you’ll want to keep on display.
Pairing an aluminuim bass with a soft Italian wool speaker grille and and leather carrying handle makes the larger Zipp and more compact Zipp Mini look seriously stylish. They should have the audio to match, too, with 360-degree sound and multiroom support for up to six speakers at once through Libratone’s Soundspace Link app.
Naturally there’s Bluetooth for direct playback from your phone, and Wi-Fi for Spotify Connect and Apple Music streaming. Each speaker can remember five internet radio stations too, so you can keep listening when your phone’s out of juice.
Both models should be good for around 8-10 hours of tunes between battery charges.
Colour me excited
It's the different colours that really help earn the Copenhagen Edition name, though, with particular styles meant to suit particular rooms. The Danes are at the forefront of interior design, after all.
You can mix and match, with Salty Grey, Pepper Black, Raspberry Red and Steel Blue covers available at launch.
