Windows 8 is the most radical overhaul of Microsoft's OS since back in 1995. Gone is the much-loved Start Menu, replaced with the Windows 7-inspired Metro Start page and a load of new finger-friendly features, not to mention a re-think of some of the old ones.

There's so much more to the Consumer preview than the Start page and it's available to anyone wanting to take it for a test drive –  so come on, take the tour.
