This is the OnePlus 2

Notice anything different?

OnePlus hasn’t exactly kept its lips sealed when it comes to the subject of its next smartphone.

So far it’s confirmed that the successor to the popular OnePlus will arrive with a Snapdragon 810 processor, 4GB of RAM, a 13MP camera, a USB Type-C connector, and a 3300mAh battery. What is hasn’t shown off is the handset itself, but now we know what that looks like too.

Chinese wireless regulator Tenaa has leaked images of the OnePlus 2, and there are two noticeable changes.

First off, the camera. It’s much lower down for starters, but more notable than that is the sensor resting beneath the lens. It looks very similar to the laser autofocus sensor found in the LG G4, which gives us high hopes for the OnePlus 2’s autofocus speed.

On the front, we can clearly see what appears to be a Galaxy S6-like fingerprint sensor. It’s unclear whether or not this will double up as a physical home button, but if it works better than the one found on the iPhone, then we’ll be more than happy.

We don’t have too long to wait before the OnePlus 2 is officially revealed at its 27 July launch event, where its eagerly anticipated (hopefully wallet-friendly) price tag will finally be revealed.
