Sony announces PlayStation Vita hands on UK tour

Like countless bands before it, Sony's PlayStation Vita is set to strut its stuff in a tour of the UK – minus the hallucinogenic substances and guitar smashing of course.

Major cities from Manchester to London will get in on the touchy-feely action, which will provide gamers with the opportunity to take PS Vita games including Uncharted: Golden Abyss and Wipeout 2048 for a spin.

Sony reps and developers will be on hand to answer any questions, with the Vita set to kick off its tour on January 13 in Manchester before hitting the rest of the UK.

Keep an eye on Sony's Facebook page for confirmation of future locations and dates and try to wait patiently for the PlayStation Vita's February 22 release.
