Koss Striva headphones do away with your MP3 player

The Wi-Fi streaming Striva Pro and Striva Tap headphones will be music to your ears

MP3 players have been getting ever smaller – now they’re set to vanish altogether, with the Koss Striva range of Wi-Fi streaming headphones.

The Koss Striva range is available in over-the-ear Striva Pro and in-ear Striva Tap flavours, both of which feature touch and gesture controls.

Arrange your music into channels on the MyKoss.com website and you can stream music directly to your Striva cans – if you’ve got a Wi-Fi connection.

If you’re not near a Wi-Fi access point, you also have the option of plugging the Koss Content Access Point (CAP) into the headphone socket of any device. It’s a slightly clunky solution, but creates a wireless access point with a substantially larger range than Bluetooth.

The Striva Pro headphones will set you back US$450, while the in-ear Striva Taps are a whopping US$500. UK pricing and availability has yet to be announced, but we’ll keep you posted.
