Homer Simpson brings a bit of humour to your sat nav

Car journeys can be boring, right? Especially when you've got that generic, monotonous sat nav woman telling you which way to go, and then shouting at

Now wouldn’t it be so much better if you had Homer Simpson telling you your desired route, with the odd bit of Homer hilarity thrown in for good measure?

Well luckily, TomTom has joined forces with 20th Century Fox to bring the original voice of Homer to your sat nav, giving you funny, encouraging, and sometimes rather unusual advice along the way.

For example, instead of just telling you to turn right you’ll get – “Take the third right. We might find an ice cream truck! Mmm…ice cream.”

Homer joins a whole host of celebrity voices you can buy for your TomTom, just in case you can’t find one in the 70 preloaded that take you fancy.

Homer’s unique instructions are available to buy for £7.95 from TomTom’s website.
