Here are the PS4 Pro games you’ll be playing next week

Sony unveils an impressive launch line-up for its supercharged 4K console

If you’ve already pre-ordered (or are planning to be old-fashioned enough to just, y’know, go into a shop and buy) the PlayStation 4 Pro, you’ve probably been wondering which games you’ll be able to play on its 10 November launch day.

Well, Sony just dropped a full list of the titles that’ll be able to take advantage of the PS4 Pro’s extra processing muscle and 4K HDR video capabilities from the start – and it features some fine examples.

Verdict: Worth the upgrade?

As well as newer games like Battlefield 1, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Rise of the Tomb Raider and Titanfall 2, the PS4 Pro’s technical wizardry will also be brought to bear on much-loved older titles like Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and The Last of Us: Remastered, as well as smaller games such as Helldivers, Super Stardust Ultra and Bound.

There’ll be 36 PS4 Pro-optimised titles available at launch, and Sony promises there’ll be over 45 available in total by the end of 2016. And from next year, all newly-released first-party games will take advantage of the PS4 Pro’s power (while also working on the other PS4 models).
