Motorola has again teamed up with razzle-dazzle fashion house Dolce & Gabbana to produce a silver and gold version of its classic handset called the MOTORAZR V3i.

As always in designer land, the phone is engraved with the D&G logo and comes with an ‘exclusive’ pendant (pictured above, centre) made from the gold initials DG - just to make double sure everyone within 20 yards knows instantly that you are a class act, and stinking rich to boot.

The phone itself has all the requisite Moto titbits including a 1.23MPcamera and video and also has a bunch of customised features including backgrounds, screensavers, MP3 ring tones and animations which, we assume, are all littered with glinting D&G logos.

If you’re into coordinating your look, you’ll be pleased to hear you can also get a personalized Motorola H700 Bluetooth headset, a wired stereo headset for listening to MP3 music files and a gold leather phone case to go with your handset, ensuring you look reet posh on every occasion.

Motorola and D&G reckon this phone will make you feel like a glamorous star romping in the lap of luxury. If you wish to verify this claim you’ll be able to get your hands on a MotoRazr V3i from today at selected Dolce & Gabbana boutiques and all major Motorola stockists – it’ll set you back in the region of £2,000.

Update (5/6/06): Turns out we got a bit carried away with the price – it's available from Carphone Warehouse for £240 on PAYG or free on contract. Gold? For free? Now you're talking...
