Intel Shows off Cove Point Windows 8 ultrabook-tablet hybrid

Intel has unveiled a Windows 8 ultrabook-tablet hybrid concept at its Intel Developer Forum (IFD) in Beijing.
The new Intel Cove Point technology looks set to follow in the footsteps of the Asus' Eee Pad slider and Transformer Prime (reviewed here), allowing you to slide the screen down over the keyboard for a finger-friendly tablet mode.
Featuring a 12.5in screen, the hybrid concept packs the grunt of an Intel Ivy Bridge processor as well as two USB 3.0 ports and a HDMI port, serving up the full PC experience for gadgeteers who'd like a little more functionality in their slates.
Here's to hoping for in onslaught of sleek and sexy hybrid tablets in the near future.
