Sony SRS-T70 review
The T70's swivelling design looks a treat but, without a volume control, can it kick out the jams to the claimed 2w output level?

Sony’s no stranger to the audio game, and we figured this clever swivelling design would do it proud. We werent far wrong – it sung a nicely balanced and subtle little ditty with recognisable bass and good detail levels.
Sadly, there’s no volume control. That means you’re reliant on your player’s output level, so you can’t use your line-out function (it’ll distort if you do).
Therefore, in practise, the Sony is far quieter than its claimed 2w output suggests. This one’s only for the keen-eared.
