Motorola Defy+ on its way to the UK

Fancy a souped-up model of Moto’s hard-as-nails handset? You’re in luck

Butter-fingered klutzes and wet ‘n’ wild adrenaline junkies shouldn’t have too long to wait for the release of Moto’s latest element-resistant handset after today’s announcement of a September release.

The Gingerbread-powered Defy+ builds on its predecessor, the original Defy, packing in a nippier 1GHz processor as well as a beefed-up 1700mAH battery and is as tough as ever thanks to its water, scratch and dust resistant body.

No specific details on price plans as yet but it’s only a matter of time before the Chuck Norris of smartphones is in your puny hands.
