Peace-out: the Rasta V3 case

Taking a super slim Moto RAZR V3 and shoe horning it into a faux-leather freebie carry case is something akin to a crime against humanity. Here at Stuff we prefer our mobiles to know the feel of full grain Argentinian cowhide, hand crafted by bent-fingered artisans.

Enter Vaja, maker of said articles, though we have no confirmation yet on the condition of its staff’s fingers. It’s just released this Jamaican-inspired Rasta case to envelope our V3s in decadent protective security.

For those who haven’t come across one before, a Vaja case is something apart from your usual phone holster. Fitted to perfection and made from some of the best leather money can buy, they are little taste of luxury for your mobile, PDA or MP3 player.

The Rasta adds three Marley stripes to the case and allows access to all the phone’s controls without blocking the camera or external display. It’s fully customisable too, so your black V3 can get itself a pink skin and vice versa.

Don’t even think of trying to get one for Christmas, though. With 34 different colours to choose from, each order has to be made from scratch and takes up to 25 days to leave the Buenos Aires factory. You can start customising your own by moving your mouse over to Vaja’s website and parting with 70 or more US dollars, plus a few extra for shipping.
