JVC’s GS-TD1 camcorder shoots 3D in HD

Sony's got company in the serious 3D camera arena

Cast your mind back, ooh, nearly a week to Stuff’s 2011 CES Hot Stuff Awards. As you may recall, we praised a certain Sony Handycam (the HDR-TD10) for its full HD 3D skills.

Now it’s got company – JVC’s GS-TD1 also uses a pair of lenses and a pair of dedicated HD CMOS sensors to shoot moving 3D images, all processed (at 1080i) on a high-speed imaging engine.
