MWC 2012 – LG Optimus 4X HD is officially unveiled

LG has officially revealed the existence of its LG Optimus 4X HD quad-core phone ahead of CES after reports of its existence (confirmed by our source) hit the interwebs yesterday.
The LG Optimus 4X HD's spec list is as impressive as we predicted, with a 1.5Ghz quad-core Tegra 3 processor powering Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on a 4.7in 1280x720 True HD IPS LCD.
A very generous 2,150mAh battery should offer plenty of juice for those beastly internals and 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage round off the spec list rather nicely.
No specific release dates or pricing have been revealed as of yet, although we're told to expect a European release in the second quarter of this year. Stay tuned for all the details next week, straight from Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
