Xbox Live entertainment apps will be free this weekend

Microsoft has announced that it will be unlocking a whole host of entertainment apps including the likes of Sky, Lovefilm, 4oD, Last.fm and more, from the 20th-23rd of April, with no Xbox Live Gold membership required.

A total of 14 entertainment apps will be served up for free, though Netflix will only be unlocked to non-subscribers who have never previously used up a free trial offer. Check out Microsoft's Entertainment Unlocked site for the full list of apps and details.

Who needed to go outside over the weekend anyway? Not us, that's for sure...
