Rugby World Cup 2011 demo goes live on Xbox and PSN

Summer's not for sports, it's for sports-themed gaming

Xbox 360 and PS3 gamers can get their mitts on the England v South Africa demo of the official Rugby World Cup 2011 game this week, gearing up for its launch on 26 August. The demo is live now on Xbox Marketplace for Xbox Live Gold members and hits the Playstation Network today.

The full game includes 20 teams to choose from and both solo play and multiplayer options (up to four in total) plus the ability to challenge other players one-on-one through Xbox Live and PSN. A free demo to get us hooked enough to want the full price game? Nice try. (Sorry.)
