iCloud is pushing iWork.com into oblivion

Technology is moving so fast there was always going to be casualties, and it looks like iWork.com is going to be the first major murder at the hands of the all-seeing iCloud.
Apple announced that from July 31st iWork.com will be shut down and anything you have on there, or have shared from there, will be annihilated forever. It does point out that refuge can be sought in the iCloud where you’re able to share files between your computer and iOS devices.
To save any files you need, go to iwork.com and download them to your computer before July 31st. We imagine some Tron-like light-wipe running through the iWork world as its inhabitants flee to their next life in the iClouds.
