We’d eat glass just to smell the leather seats of this £1.8 million special edition Bugatti Veyron

Hands up if you feel poor. Yeah, us too

🙁
Yep. We can’t afford it either. And we probably never will. But that doesn’t mean we can’t drool over this glorious Ettore Bugatti Legend.

It’s the sixth car in the Les Légendes de Bugatti roster, and it’s dedicated to Mr Etorre Bugatti – the man who started it all.

Let’s hear those juicy numbers
This special edition keeps the 8 litre W16 engine of the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse. This is a very, very good thing.

That’ll give lucky drivers a top speed of 254mph, along with an eye-watering 0-62mph speed of 2.6 seconds. Insane, eh?

Want… so much want.
We don’t blame you. From its carbon fibre body (coloured after the 1932 Type 41 royal) to its dark blue polished, diamond-cut aluminium rims and platinum Bugatti logo, it’s an absolute stunner.

And the inside?
In a word – classy. In addition to traditional calf leather, Bugatti has opted to slather the steering wheel, gear shift, door handles, roof and armrests in super-soft cordovan leather.

Taken from horse hide, it’s normally used in luxurious handmade shoes. HSo technically, you’re driving a giant shoe. A shoe that blasts across tarmac at over 200 miles an hour.

Oh, and there’s a platinum-coated coated dancing elephant in between the seats, showing off Bugatti’s logo in all its sparkly glory.

We

Time to buy a lottery ticket
Even that might not help. Only three Bugatti Legends are being made, and by the time you’ve bought a ticket and won, they’ll all have been snapped up.

Still, you could always settle for a regular Veyron we suppose.
