If you're planning a hop across the Channel for a spot of World Cup egg chasing this summer, chances are you'll be packing a sat-nav to get you to the stadium on time. With this in mind, French navigator ViaMichelin has added a nifty feature to its new X-960 and X970T (pictured) models – monthly Point Of Interest packs.Kicking off with the World Cup in June, the downloadable packs will feature event specific information, such as fixture venues and local hotels. Both units will come with the option of Euro maps – for a £40 premium – while the 970 also gets a built-in Bluetooth handsfree and free traffic info as standard.ViaMichelin is also offering free map updates for 90 days, with the option to buy further updates should the council decide to do a spot of roundabout rearranging in your neighbourhood. Both are out next month with added features rolling out a short while later.
