Samsung Galaxy Tab range will soon be chowing down on Ice Cream Sandwich

The long wait it nearly over, as Sammy's tablet family looks set for a helping of Android dessert at long last

Patient Galaxy Tab owners will soon be able to help themselves to a serving of Android Ice Cream Sandwich.

According to SamMobile, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, 8.9, 7.7 and 7.0 will all be getting an update to Google's latest Android OS from July, after which the majority of devices will see the switchover by August.

Happy updating, and try not to be to tempted by the new Microsoft Surface or impending Google Nexus tablet...
