Microsoft Kinect release date brought forward

Kinect out in the shops earlier than expected 19 November release date

All the details about the Kinect are out in the open – we know its price, and all its specs, but up until now we were expecting it to turn up over here on 19 November. At the time of writing, play.com’s preorder page is still showing this as the release date.

A press release from the big M today at Gamescom gaming conference in Cologne states that “Kinect for Xbox 360 [is] officially launching in Europe, Middle East and Africa1 on November 10″.

So there you have it – Kinect is out in plenty of time to put it on your Christmas list.
