We’re big fans of the Tangent Quattro, so we’re happy to see another product has appeared in Tangent’s line-up.

The AMP-30 Ampster is a handy little amplifier which’ll hook up to your MP3 player, phone or anything with a 3.5mm headphone jack socket. All you need is a decent set of cones and you’ve got yourself a tidy little listening package.

In the box with the Ampster you’ll get a beanbag stand so your player can perch comfortably alongside, while the Ampster charges is via USB. You’ll also be furnished with two sets of banana plugs for a solid connection to your speakers of choice.

For a compact music setup, we reckon the Ampster could be a real winner.
