BeetBox combines vegetables and a Raspberry Pi to make sweet music
Grammar Nazis, put down your pitchforks – that's no spelling mistake in the title.
This ludicrous contraption called the BeetBox certainly doesn’t need to exist, but that doesn’t mean we don’t want one gracing our desks.
The crazy setup consists of beets held in a wooden cabinet attached to a Raspberry Pi – a homemade script detects when each vegetable is hit, blasting a drum sample out of an in-built speaker.
Now if you’ll excuse us, we’re off to combine a watermelon with a SNES to created some dirty dubstep drops. It’s all the rage, you know.
