As long as you’re not the littlest hobo, you’ll love the Pulsar 590A’s stylish desktop charging stand, a great reminder to charge your cans as you come through the door. The natty stereo dongle charges from it, too, although the 590As can be paired with an A2DP mobile.

The Pulsar styling is a little bit too office headset for our liking but there’s no arguing with the conventional fit and comfort. The controls are easy to find and use but the volume increments are too big. All in all we found that sound quality is decent: a little compressed but weighty. Just make sure you shop around to get the best price.
