Tascam reveals iM2 stereo mic for iPhone

Tascam has lifted the curtains off its pocket-sized iM2 stereo mic for your iPhone, iPod and iPad. The stereo recorder slots in to your iThing’s dock connector and features a built in microphone preamp and analogue-to-digital converter for high quality recordings.

The iM2 can handle up to 125dB meaning you can whip it out without fear at loud gigs – although dropping your iPhone in the middle of a mosh pit is another matter altogether. An included adjustable stereo limiter which tames loud sound is also included.
