After Apple blocked sales of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 over copy-cat claims, we thought we'd have to wait until the end of the month to get our hands on the skinny slice of Samsung tech. But the legal gods are shining on tablet fans this week as that pesky court in Germany has just agreed to let the Galaxy Tab 10.1 back out on the loose everywhere in Europe except Germany.

Temporarily, that is. So August 25 is still the date in everyone's calendar for settling the squabble. Best to grab one now while you can.

I am planning to buy one of these anytime soon because I read most of the product reviews and forum posts about it and people are really satisfied with this release. But when I manage to make the purchase, I will make sure I install a reliable clean registry program that will keep it running smoothly for a long period of time. Funny how Germany jumped off the list on this one.
