Original Asus Transformer to get Ice Cream Sandwich update in February
Owners of the original Asus Transformer tablet (which won Stuff’s 2011 Gadget of the year award) will be relieved to hear that they too can follow in the footsteps of their Transformer Prime-toting brethren, with an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update set to hit in mid-February.
The revelation comes courtesy of a response to a fan’s question on Asus’ official Facebook page, although whether or not the update will be for US owners only initially is still unknown.
It's good news if you’re still faithfully rocking the original transforming tablet then, even if you are already eyeing up the Transformer Prime’s full HD successor. And, let's face, who's not?
