The Oppo Find N6 may have found the foldable formula

The Oppo Find N6 foldable may have a barely detectable display crease. That'd set it apart from the rest of the foldables on the market

Oppo has teased its next generation Find N6 foldable phone ahead of the global launch event later this month. And the big news is the promise of an inner display with a “zero-feel crease”

In a teaser page on the Oppo website, the manufacturer is claiming a development that has eluded the foldable form factor until now – a display without a massively visible fold down the middle. That expectation is partially why the Find N6 is among the upcoming 2026 phones we’re most excited to see.

In the “remarks” on the page, Oppo explains that a zero-feel crease “refers to a visual effect where the crease is typically not visible from most viewing angles and under normal use conditions. It does not mean the crease is physically absent. Visibility may vary depending on individual perception, lighting, and specific content displayed.”

So, while the crease isn’t entirely going away, it mightn’t be so obvious as you’re browsing the display in tablet mode – and that sounds like progress towards the foldable nirvana.

This is good news for everyone, and not just the Chinese market. The event is advertised as a “global launch event” on March 17 (which is the early hours of the 18th UK time), which sure suggests to us that it’ll be available outside of China. The predecessor never officially made it off the mainland.

Elsewhere, we can expect the cameras to be a major focus thanks to Oppo’s ongoing relationship with the photography titans at Hasselblad. We’re going to get a 200MP main camera for starters. The Find N6 also going to get a stylus. Or, as Oppo calls it, an AI pen. Other than slapping AI on everything we’re not sure what that means yet.

“The first AI stylus engineered for foldables,” Oppo says. “Think it. Ink it. Instantly.” The find print says the features will be usable without the pen anyway. Plus it’ll be sold separately.

“The OPPO Find N series has always led the foldable market by being on the front end of innovative technologies,” said Pete Lau, the SVP and CPO of OPPO. “With Find N6, we have achieved a major breakthrough in hinge architecture and display materials. By introducing the industry’s first Zero-Feel Crease, we are opening up new possibilities for what a foldable smartphone experience can be.”
