Samsung learns its lesson, plans to launch Galaxy Note 6 in the UK

Good news for stylus-loving phablet fans

Remember when Samsung decided not to launch the Galaxy Note 5 in the UK for no good reason whatsoever, disappointing masses of Android fans? Yeah, us too.

The handset still hasn’t made it to UK shelves (despite rumours of a January launch), leaving Samsung fans with the stylus-less Galaxy Note Edge+ for their phablet fix.

Samsung has apparently however decided not to disappoint fans UK fans this time around, with Tech Radar reporting on plans of a Galaxy Note 6 launch in the UK later this year.

The handset will apparently be available for UK gadgeteers in August, taking the place of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge+.

To clarify then, if all the reports we’ve heard are true, Samsung’s flagship 2016 UK lineup will consist of the Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, and the Galaxy Note 6.

This is all still unconfirmed news at this stage however, so we’ll have to wait till Samsung’s Unpacked 2016 event on 21 February to get a clearer picture. Stay tuned.
