Motorola RAZR to get a white finish?

Motorola's RAZR is the latest smartphone to get a snowy overcoat

A white mobile phone is like a black swan – you don’t see them very often, but when you do it’s a marvel to behold. Next in line for for a purported lick of white paint is Motorola’s RAZR, which looks set to get a new look in addition to a QWERTY-toting sibling. The phones are due out in the US just in time for the festive fun times.

Evidence of a white RAZR was spotted by Droid-Life in a leaked screenshot rumoured to hail from Verizon’s device management system, which unmistakably lists a white Motorola Droid – how the RAZR is otherwise known Stateside. From the looks of things it was entered in the system at the same time as the ordinary-styled RAZR, but with not so much as a hint of confirmation from Motorola, it’s hard to tell whether this is the real deal or not.

We’ve seen, or at least heard whisperings of white smartphones from the likes of Samsung, BlackBerry and Apple, so while you contemplate the prospect of a festive themed phone from the guys over at Moto, check out our hands on review and take a peep at our preview video.
