Back in May we marvelled at the raw power crammed into the lug-friendly Zieo N500-HD. Now Evesham's back, cackling like an evil villain, with even more resolution for your money. Now in a redesigned, but equally luggable frame, the 17in NX600-HD stuffs the same Santa Rosa goodness into a black and red shell with an identical 2.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 processor, 120GB hard drive and 2GB RAM combo.Taking things up a frag frenzied notch is the Nvidia GeForce 8700M GT with 512MB memory which cooks up a storming 1920x1200 of resolution that'll do nicely for a spot of 1080p. Shell out a bit extra and you can take home the NX650-HD with a T7700 processor and 160GB drive.Intel High Definition Audio, a 1.3 mega pixel camera and a media card reader complete the line up and, despite the name, there's still no Blu-Ray or HD-DVD drive in there so you'll just have to make do with standard DVDs and take games or downloaded movies for your hi-def kicks. All that and still under 4kg. Not exactly ultra-portable but it should save on gym fees.Essentials Evesham Zieo NX600-HD, NX650-HD Price: £1400, £1600 On sale: Now Contact: Evesham Related stories: Evesham lappy replaces the desktop replacement New Intel chips prompt laptop landslide Enter the HP HDX 'Dragon'
