Just as we’ve loaded up our new year fitness plans and packed away the Christmas decorations, it’s time once again for the annual curtain-raiser for tech – the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), which takes place at the start of each January in Las Vegas, Nevada.

So far there have been numerous TV launches, fresh laptops (plus new chips from the key players), loads of wearable and fitness tech, innovative robot vacs and much more.

After a slight dip around the pandemic (including a cancelled event), the show is now back to full strength and in more venues than ever across the Las Vegas Strip and Las Vegas Convention Center including the huge new West Hall.

We’re on the ground to check out everything across several days of press conferences and launches – our coverage this year is brought to you in association with Acer.

It all kicked off on Sunday with events from Samsung as well as a showcase of all the latest wares from smaller companies. Monday saw many more press conferences from the likes of Hisense, Intel, Nvidia, Qualcomm and even Lego.

Increasingly, CES has expanded into other areas, especially automotive, but there are also vast areas dedicated to smart home and wearables as well as tech startups.
