AirPods Pro 3 deal: save $50 on Apple’s best earbuds in the Amazon sale

If you’re after some of the best wireless earbuds, there’s good news – you can save a tidy $50 on a tempting AirPods Pro 3 deal in the US, thanks to Amazon’s Big Spring Sale.

At $199 (down from $249), this is one of the best prices we’ve seen for Apple’s latest noise-cancelling buds – and they’re a decent step up from their predecessors, the AirPods Pro 2.

The big change is the new H3 chip, which promises to push both sound quality and noise cancellation up a notch, with Apple saying that the latter is up to twice as effective as the previous model.

Comfort has improved, too. The buds are slightly smaller, and there are now five ear tip sizes instead of three, using a foam design to improve the seal. That helps both long-term comfort and passive noise isolation – two areas where fit really matters.

Battery life has had a useful bump as well. You’re getting up to eight hours with ANC on, or up to 10 hours in transparency mode, which makes these much easier to rely on for longer listening sessions.

There are also some new tricks. The AirPods Pro 3 add heart rate tracking from your ear, plus broader workout tracking features, making them a viable option if you don’t always want to wear a smartwatch. Live Translation is another standout feature, letting you hear translated speech directly through the buds.
