G-Shock and Coca-Cola have teamed up to mark 140 years of the world’s most famous fizzy drink

G-Shock and Coca-Cola shake up the GA-2100 for a bubbly 140th anniversary collab – and the result is exactly as fun as you'd hope

Two of the world’s most iconic brands have joined forces. No, we’re not talking about Swatch and Audemars Piguet (this time) – we’re talking about G-Shock and Coca-Cola.

The two brands have released a limited edition watch collaboration to celebrate 140 years of the soft drink giant.

The watch is built on the GA-2100 – one of G-Shock’s most popular and best-looking models.

The design is packed full of nods to the famous drink. The bezel and band take their colours from Coca-Cola’s famous contour bottle. The dial is dotted with bubble-like printed details – a hint to the drink’s signature fizz.

That’s not enough? Well the date indicator hand sits at the 9 o’clock position, and both it and the band loop carry the fluted bottle motif.

The case back features a bottle-cap-inspired engraving. It’s all very playful and I’m a big fan.

The watch is presented in exclusive co-branded packaging. I can see it being very popular with collectors. That said, purchases are limited to one per person.

Specs are solid across the board. The GA-2100 platform brings 200-metre water resistance, Carbon Core Guard construction, world time across 31 time zones, five daily alarms, a countdown timer, and a 1/100-second stopwatch.

The battery life is around three years.

The case measures 48.5 × 45.4 × 11.8mm and weighs 51g. It uses G-Shock’s signature carbon and bio-based resin throughout, which keeps things lightweight without sacrificing durability.

The GA-2100CC-3A is priced at $160 in the US and £160 in the UK – available now on G-Shock’s website.
