New Nexus 10: is this Google’s next big tablet?

Samsung-made 10in slate seen in picture – but is it the real deal?

Is this the first image of Google’s 2014 Nexus 10?

The image was sent to EV Leaks by a tipster but the Twitter account, which is usually bang on the money when it comes to revealing upcoming smartphones and tablets, sounded a note of caution, saying it “[could not] vouch for this”.

EVLeaks Nexus 10 tweet

There’s a smattering of additional information besides the image: that it’s made by Samsung and that it’ll come with a 2560 x 1600 screen, Exynos 5 processor, 3GB of RAM, 16GB and 32GB storage options, 5MP rear camera, 3MP front camera and Android 4.5.

Take it all with a fistful of salt, basically. But it’s the best rumour we’ve seen concerning the next Nexus 10 so far.

UPDATE: While we were posting this story, EVLeaks appears to have deleted the tweet. A suggestion, perhaps, that the images and info aren’t accurate?
