Office Cat's Diary – 29/08/12
Terry Crews brings muscle music to Vimeo
The Expendables 2 star Terry Crews has lent some muscle power to Old Spice and Vimeo, with an interactive Muscle Music video that lets you flex his pecs (and abs, and lats) to power musical instruments. Office Cat prefers to make music by wandering up and down a piano keyboard, but each to their own.
Samsung launches gesture controlled All-In-One Series 7 PC
Samsung's new Windows 8-ready All-In-One Series 7 PC is gunning for gourmets – it features gesture control so you don't have to get the screen mucky, plus it's pre-loaded with a glut of Jamie Oliver recipes. Inside, it's cooking up a storm with a Core i7 processor, 8GB of RAM and a AMD Radeon HD graphics card (7850M in the 27in model, 7690M in its 23in sibling). A 2560x1440 WQHD display rounds off the package. Now, if it could just open this tin of cat food, Office Cat would be sorted.
Lego assembling film cast
There are plenty of Lego movie parodies doing the rounds on YouTube – it was only a matter of time before the venerable Danish company decided to put its own film together. And it's assembled an impressive cast for Lego: The Piece of Resistance – including Morgan Freeman, Chris Pratt and Elizabeth Banks. Channing Tatum and Will Arnett, meanwhile, will voice Lego Batman and Lego Superman. As far as Office Cat is concerned, that alone makes it film of the year.

Check the air quality with your iPad
Want to know what you're breathing? There's an app for that now. Parisian design company Netatmo has created a "personal urban weather station" – indoor and outdoor modules that record CO2 levels, humidity and pressure and punt the data wirelessly to your iPad, iPod Touch or iPhone. Using a dedicated app, you can then work out whether you need to open the window 'cause it's getting a bit stuffy. Office Cat notes that the sensors don't detect cat hair levels. Not that it bothers him.
