Next Big Thing – solar powered OLED transparent car roof
Is that an iCar interior?
Let's not get ahead of ourselves. That right there is a concept design between BASF and Philips, showcasing a rather swanky looking roof featuring hexagonal OLED panels.
Ah. What's the point?
Asides from looking like a futuristic honeycomb, the OLED panels function as both interior lighting before becoming transparent at the the press of a button. The best part? It's all integrated with solar cells providing enough juice to power itself with power left over for the car.
You're going to tell me this is a concept, aren't you?
Well, yes. But a working concept at that – so it's more than just a designer's pipe dream at the very least. Just drool over the pretty picture below for the time being. It's better than nothing isn't it?

This car looks amazing and I really have high hopes that the Fox Car Rental will have this model in their fleet once the car will be available for the general public. Again, superb car!!

Now that's one model I won't be seeing soon at the donate car USA center. This concept car looks amazing and it's features are highly futuristic. It's small which makes it great for a city car. The fact that it has solar panels makes it environmentally friendly and practical.

This car roof has such brilliant look; the more we are moving towards future the better products we are seeing. It would be great to see this car on the road. For better driving experience good car parts are required, such as Dorman control arm.

Hopefully the concept would soon convert into reality. The cars that we have now in the market have great features too. I think fuel efficiency is now the most important feature we have. I think having a car insurance is must. I bought car insurance right after buying my new car. But I searched a lot for Car Insurance quotes.

Distracted driving is one of the main causes of accidents. I heard that in the near future all the new cars will have a face recognition device that will stop you from talking at you cellphone or look after "ladies" while driving. I have a friend that used some Dodge parts and made a car that doesn't start if you stink of alcohol and he told me that it wouldn't take him much to implement something that would stop you from talking at you cellphone.

Even though this is still a concept, we can get this concept roaring down the roads in future. So it would be an awesome experience to drive this car. Now we have to do with the regular cars that we have in the market. But these cars needs proper maintenance only then they would function properly; for servicing I take my car to Lincoln Philadelphia.

Now this is a real tech improvement for the car industry. A electric or hybrid that recharges from the sun, a real dream come true, no more greasy parts no more axle assembly, or oil changes or anything just clean energy.

I think that I saw something like this at a auto donations event.I have to admit that the car was great and I don't know if I can afford a car like that but I am sure that I wouldn't pass if somebody offers it to me.

This looks awesome. I came to know recently that Phillips and BASF have planned this design. OLED is organic light emitting diode and it acts as window when switched off. this technology will surely boost up the electric car industry.
