LG Star appears in hands-on video

One of the most highly anticipated smartphones of the 2011, the Android 2.2-powered LG Star, takes a leading role in new video

LG’s Star Android 2.2-fuelled smartphone is already shaping up to be one of the, er, star handsets of 2011. Although not confirmed, its rumoured spec sheet – an 8MP snapper, monster 4-inch display, HDMI port and Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core processor – make for a mouthwatering proposition.

To get you even more excited, the first comprehensive hands-on video of the LG Star has appeared over at GSM Israel. You might have to get your Tel Aviv born aunt to translate but the footage shows the handset in its all its glory, going head-to-head with the Apple iPhone 4 in a quick web browser sprint. It seems the dual core chip is pretty damn speedy.
